TapReceipt is designed to work alongside existing POS and receipt printer flows, but compatibility depends on your current setup. That's why we review your till and printer details before recommending the next step.
Does TapReceipt change how staff serve customers?
No. Staff continue serving customers as normal. TapReceipt handles receipt routing in the background, while the customer taps the countertop unit if they want a digital receipt.
What happens if TapReceipt or the internet goes down?
Paper receipts remain available through your existing receipt printer flow. TapReceipt is designed so retailers are not dependent on digital receipts to keep serving customers.
Does TapReceipt touch card payment data?
No. TapReceipt does not process payments or handle card authorisation. It works with receipt output only, so your existing POS and payment provider remain responsible for payments. Customers do not need to enter card details, email addresses or phone numbers to receive a receipt.
How long are browser receipts available?
Browser receipts are available for up to 30 days. Customers can save receipts to Google Wallet or Apple Wallet if they want to keep them longer.
Is setup & activation charged per till or per store?
For most single-location retailers, setup & activation is charged per store/location, not per till. It covers initial configuration, testing and activation for that site.
If you have multiple locations, we'll confirm the setup cost before anything is agreed.
